This is certainly my initial stop by and I really like what I'm seeing. Your weblog is so much fun to look over, quite compelling as well as informative. I'll undoubtedly recommend it to my friends. Nevertheless, I did have some problem with the commenting. It kept giving me an problem whenever I clicked on publish comment. I hope, that can be fixed. Many thanks

Aw, this was a really quality post. In theory I'd like to write like this too - taking time and real effort to make a good article... but what can I say... I procrastinate alot and never seem to get something done.

I couldnt agree more! It's funny, but my husband (Bud)and I attended a meet & greet in Winston-Salem last w/e and I took a picture of Bud "coaching" Sean Willingham. He'd noticed a flaw in Sean's approach and told him about it. Sean was receptive and kept nodding his head. He agreed that the flaw Bud had seen was indeed a problem and he thought he could fix it! I've heard other riders say that someone, usually a good friend or mentor, helped them to correct this problem or that.
You're right, Adriano! I wasn't one of those people laughing when you got a coach, but I was one of those cheering when you won your third world championship!

From meeting and seeing the bull riders from North Carolina, they did not grow up in the environment and raised to be a "cowboy". I do not believe that it is necessary to be a "cowboy" to be a bull rider. JB Mauney and Brian Canter are great bull riders and Adriano worked on a farm and drove a tractor but all of these guys had great natural ability and a love of the sport that has made them great in what they do and did.
So, the answer to the question is, no you do not have to be raised in a certain way or be as they say a "cowboy". You do have to have a natural ability and a passion to be the best you can be and all of these guys have proven the point. Of course Adriano was a three time World Champion but these other bull riders are still very young and have the passion.

Coaching is the way to go. So many bull riders just need to have someone to help them even in small ways that the bull rider does not realize is happening in the ride.
Adriano was the first to mention coaching and everyone hesitated in agreeing with him.
Training, mental attitude, physical and spiritual attitude is very important if the rider wants to have a long and successful career.
The bull rider really does not have that many years for his body to stay in top shape and injuries wear down the mental thinking so much. Why not have a coach to handle these situations during their career to keep the mind and body going in the right direction.
Now, is the time because so much is changing in the PBR and so much more money is being offered to all of the bull riders especially the bull riders at the top of their game.
